01 – CLIENT + BRIEF
Sir Clive Woodward; England Rugby World Cup winning coach 2003, Team GB Director of Sport 2012, public speaker, business consultant and entrepreneur.
The challenge was to create a brand and digital experience which highlighted Clive's achievements and showcased his speaking and consulting services.
02 – THE IDEA
The logo identity was inspired by Sir Clive Woodward's autograph. A contemporary calligraphy route.
03 – COLOUR
The colours are taken from two of Clive's proudest moments. The gold a sample from the Webb Ellis Cup which he won with the England Rugby Team in 2003. The navy inspired by the Union Flag and his achievements with Team GB at London 2012.
04 – TYPOGRAPHY
Bold and confident typography frames and showcases some of Clive's most memorable and inspiring quotes.
05 – PHOTOGRAPHY + FOOTAGE
To enhance the digital experience, photography and been treated with a parallax effect. Adding depth and bringing these stills to life. These have then been edited and mixed with footage from Clive's rugby, Olympic and speaking events.
06 – THE WEBB ELLIS
A minimalist illustration of the Webb Ellis Cup has been created to act as a supporting graphic for the brand. The icon is also used across the website, animating as the user interacts with the site.
07 – WEBSITE
The Website is a showcase of Clive's achievements. The user is guided through an animated experience on scroll whilst content is served highlighting Clive's speaking and consulting services as well as his ventures; Hive Learning and Apex:2100.
